Account information: phone number, email, display name, username, and profile photo you provide when signing up. Content: posts, articles, comments, messages, and media (photos) you upload. Usage data: likes, reposts, follows, views, and similar interactions, used to power your feed and notifications. Device information: a push-notification token used to deliver notifications to your device, and basic device/platform information for crash reporting and app improvement.
To operate core features of the app: showing your feed, delivering messages, sending push notifications for likes, comments, follows, and messages (which you can turn off individually in Settings), and displaying your profile to other users. To keep the platform safe: detecting spam, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Your username, display name, profile photo, bio, and public posts/articles are visible to other users by default. Direct messages are visible only to you and the other participant. Anonymous Chat hides your identity from the other participant, but Black94 itself retains records needed for safety and moderation.
Black94 is built on Firebase (Google Cloud) for authentication, database, and core app data, and Cloudflare R2 for photo/media storage. These providers may store data in data centers outside your home country; we take reasonable steps to ensure your data is protected wherever it is processed.
If you grant notification permission, we register a device token used solely to deliver notifications you've opted into (likes, comments, follows, messages). You can disable push notifications entirely, or by category, from Settings at any time; disabling a category stops server-side delivery for that category going forward.
You can edit or delete your profile information at any time from Edit Profile. You can delete individual posts, comments, or your entire account from Settings. Deleting your account removes your profile and content from active use in the app; some information may be retained for a limited period where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Black94 is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account, we will take steps to delete that account and associated data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in-app of material changes before they take effect.
